Huòhuò Bōbō, these two words are derived from Poetry·Wei·The Duke’s Bride: “When nets are spread out, fishes leap.” Huòhuò refers to the sound of nets being spread out onto the water, Bōbō is the sound of the splash from the tails of big fishes, these two onomatopoeias related to the sound of water are connected with the implication of my works. My latest works are evolving from the series of The Foul Past Times in 2014, although their themes are both about water, the taste is not exact the same.
