On August 5, 2023, Xin Luoting's solo exhibition "Crossing Flowers to Find the Way" will open in the Yulan Hall (Shanghai) space. For Xin Luoting, painting is a process of walking all the way, and each scene is a stop. The distant memories of childhood are interspersed with a scene that is always running away, where anticipation and fear, confrontation and unease gradually internalize into the background of the artist's life, and then become the background of the work.

The exit, like a window like light, metaphorically expresses the expectation of running away and glimpsing the path of time at any time. Every piece of work is a constant journey to search for unknown and novel things. Living elsewhere, in a state of eternal absence, all the scenery is both illusory and real, and superimposed on the upper layer of the language in the picture, like a thin layer of mist. A form of restraint that allows the charm of color to emerge from below through spontaneous effort, attracting the artist's implicit and passionate, detached and nostalgic emotions to shine above the work.
