This exhibition focuses on the subject matter of people. Portraits have become more prominent in the artist's work in the past two years, continuing the theme of portraiture in his last solo exhibition, "Glory Days". As opposed to his earlier works, which bore the strong mark of their time, the artist is now able to create paintings that are simpler, weakening the language of images while focusing more on the language of the canvas.It is the ethos and aesthetic tendency of the artist that is implicit in the images, seeking to simplify and see the richness in simplicity, that reflects the quiet, subtle, timeless, soft yet powerful energy that can be felt within them.
