Born  in  Jiangsu  province  in  1974;  He  graduated  from  Nanjing  university  of  the  arts  in  1997.  Now  lives  in  Yangzhou.

Zhou  Wenzhong  is  a  contemporary  artist  with  deep  humanistic  concern.  His  art  shows  the  loneliness  and  helplessness  of  ordinary   "individuals "  in  the  absurd  modern  system  with  powerful  language  and  deep  emotion.

In  2004,  Zhou  Wenzhong  won  the  gold  medal  in  the  He  Xiangning  Art  Museum 's  exhibition   "The  Spirit  of  Youth ".  From  the  beginning  of  the  new  century  to  the  present,  his  art  has  experienced  the  evolution  process  from  the  intense  youth  experience  to  the  twisted  social  rationality 's  discipline  and  punishment  to  the  survival  dilemma  of  the  disadvantaged  individuals  in  the  modern  society.  In  the  way  of  expression  of  the  work,  a  more  direct,  concise,  more  sense  of  hardness  and  strength  of  the  technique  to  express  a  more  direct  emotional  state,  to  explore  the  era  of  urban  and  rural  transition,  cultural  separation  and  the  spirit  of  the  struggle  under  the  ruins  of  the  building.
